Tera Melos may have been quiet these past few months while they were busy searching for a new drummer, but in typical TM fashion, they were just planning some more surprises.
In their so called "downtime," Nick Reinhart managed to write and record a full-length album for the new band he started with drummer extraordinaire Zach Hill called bygones. The album entitled by- will see a March 2009 release on Sargent House.
Tera Melos also managed to find their new permanent drummer who goes by the name of John Clardy. Keeping it light while breaking him in, Tera Melos decided to have some fun and record some covers of an interesting batch of favorites, hence the EP Idioms Vol I was born. Also, the band figures, since the songs are covers, they will never be for sale, they will be instead be FREE! Click below for US tourdates and album download!
Tera Melos have also released Misadventures, a strange clip to let the world in on their new John, while tipping their hats to another chap by the name of John, in this never, well maybe never before seen interview.
