Clutch Announce Three Sets at Bonnaroo 2010!




In support of their most recent CD "Strange Cousins From the West" and "Live at the 9:30" DVD release, the members of veteran rock band Clutch are set for a stretch of US and European headline shows kicking off this Friday in Huntington, WV. Clutch's instrumental jazz rock alter ego The Bakerton Group along with Never Got Caught and Lionize will support Clutch on their headline dates. Clutch's duel DVD set, which also features the "road movie" "Fortune Tellers Make a Killing Nowadays" debuted at #6 on the music DVD Soundscan chart. Just confirmed for release on June 15th, is the exclusive audio iTunes release of the entire 90 minute 9:30 Club show from December 28th, 2009.

Midway through the tour, Clutch and the Bakerton Group will perform multiple sets at the widely popular Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester Tennessee. The Bakerton Group will perform on Friday June 11th at 10pm on the Troo Music Stage. Clutch will perform Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm on the Sonic Music Stage, and immediately follow that with a rare 30 minute "signing booth" appearance . Clutch will then let loose their electric set later that night from 12:30-2:00am at "The Other Tent."

One of Bonnaroo's broadcasting partners, Fuse.TV, will host an exclusive free download of the new Clutch single called "Let a Poor Man Be." A live version of that same track will be available for Bonnaroo concert goers, via a free Bonnaroo digital sampler which will feature Live music from both Clutch and the Bakerton Group; courtesy of Weathermaker Music and The Syndicate.

Weathermaker has also released details on this Summer's re-issue of Clutch's "From Beale Street to Oblivion" project. Complete with digital enhancement of the band's most popular video to date, "Electric Worry," as well as updated artwork and packaging, this 22 track expanded edition will include 5 songs recorded at London's legendary BBC studios / "Maida Vale Session" in December of 2006, and 4 live songs recorded in Melbourne, Australia in 2007. In addition to the Clutch classics Electric Worry, One Eye Dollar and The Devil in Me, are previously unavailable renditions of Cream's "Politician" and Howling Wolf's "You Gonna Wreck My Life." This double CD expanded edition will be available at retail on July 20th. The digital version will be available iTunes and other outlets a week prior. Look for Weathermaker Music to re-issue additional Clutch projects during 2010 via CD, vinyl. digital formats.
