Clutch Release "From Beale Street To Oblivion" Expanded Reissue Today on Weathermaker Music * Stream Cover of Cream's "Politician" at Revolvermag.com!

Weathermaker Music will re-issue the first of three expanded edition Clutch projects later today, in the form of a digitally enhanced "From Beale Street to Oblivion" double disc package. The 21 song set contains upgraded artwork, expanded packaging and over 45 minutes of previously unreleased music. Included are 5 bonus tracks recorded at the legendary BBC studios in London, 4 live recordings from Clutch's 2007 Australian tour, and the digitally enhanced video for the single "Electric Worry." Among these rarities are two classic blues rock covers; Howling Wolf's "You Gonna Wreck My Life," and Cream's "Politician" (scroll to the track list below to stream this track exclusively at Revolvermag.com!) Later this summer, Weathermaker Music will issue the remastered "Electric Worry" single in support of the band's ten week North American tour with Black Label Society and Children of Bodom, which begins on September 22nd in Vancouver. The single, which is frequently referred to as "Bang, Bang, Bang, Vaminos" by certain radio outlets, has recently been featured in TV commercials for the highly sought after "Left For Dead" video game, as well as TNT's new detective drama "Memphis Beat," starring Jason Lee.

Ever the workaholics, Clutch recently leaked some details regarding two forthcoming autumn releases in 2010. The Robot Hive/Exodus double disc re-issue is set for a September 28th instore date. This will be a CD/DVD combo package, as the bonus disc will feature over 30 minutes of outdoor concert footage filmed at 2005's Sounds of the Underground festival in Sayreville NJ.

No concrete details have been stated "on record" about the second autumn release, but Weathermaker Music Label Manager Jon Nardachone has hinted at a late November instore date for a new 6 track acoustic EP, tentatively titled "Basket of Eggs."
