Almost a decade since math metal reached its critical mass, Knut somehow manage to sound fresh on Wonder, their first album in five years and sixth overall... Their scampering guitargasms are all the more impressive, punctuated between sludgy shoegaze riffs, and because frontman Didier sings so intermittently on the album (six out of 11 songs), his growling on high points like “Fast Forward Bastard” sounds pointedly vicious.
