Pollstar Shouts-Out Russian Circles' US Tours!

Russian Circles Leaves The Station



Instru-metal indie rock trio Russian Circles is headed out on the road in support of its latest release, Station.

The Chicago-based band kicks off a run with Rhode Island rockers Daughters tonight at Picador in Iowa City, Iowa that will see the bands on the road through early July.

Stops include The Riot Room in Kansas City, Mo. (June 5), Neumo's in Seattle (June 9), Slim's in San Francisco (June 12), Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif. (June 15), Red 7 in Austin (June 20), The Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta (June 25), the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, N.Y. (June 29), and Magic Stick in Detroit (July 2).
The group will play two shows on its own July 5 at Schuba's in its hometown and then take a little break before hooking up with Coheed and Cambria July 27 at Viejas Concerts in the Park in San Diego.

Other destinations include the Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, N.M. (July 30), White Rabbit in San Antonio, Texas (August 3), Revolution in Fort Lauderdale (August 6) and House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, N.C. (August 9).

Secret Machines will join the bands for the majority of the trek. Tickets for both runs are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Station, the follow up to 2006 full-length debut Enter, was recorded in Seattle with producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Isis). The disc features guest apperances from Brian Cook (These Arms Are Snakes, Botch) and Morgan Henderson (The Blood Brothers).
